Overtime time as roof tiles age they are colonised by moss, lichen and a host of other plant life. This is damaging to your roof and it appears poorly maintained. ​ The mix of species is called “biofilm”. First we remove the moss using bespoke telescopic tools. After removal we use a Algoclear Pro which is applied carefully soaking all tiles and the left over organic material.  ​Once the treatment has been done, the dead biofilm slowly disperses. Your tiles will begin to reveal their original appearance. ​This self cleansing process can take between a few weeks and a few months depending on the exposure and porosity of the roofing material.
